Okay, so I used to love watching the Rugrats when I was younger (Yes, I'm a 90's kid).

Apparently, I'm bad at drawing heads (but hey, Angelika's came out way better than Tommy's!)

One Word Makes All the Difference

I was thinking about it today, and there is a word that, when placed in front of other words, completely changes their meanings/connotations.  That word is: Christian.

I know the word Christian was originally used in reference to Christ-followers as an offense back during Biblical times, but now it's used to describe everyone who has professed salvation - that is, everyone who has called on the name of Jesus Christ to save him/her from sin.

And as Christians, we are called to be set apart from worldly things (Romans 12:1-2).  If we as Christians are doing our job right, then our "words" below should look a whole lot different from the world's.

So if you could, just take a few minutes to think about what each word means to you and how the meaning changes once you put "Christian" in front of it:

3. Adult ....... Christian Adult
4. Wedding ... Christian Wedding
5. Marriage ... Christian Marriage
6. Love .......... Christian Love
7. Hope ......... Christian Hope

10. Friend ...... Christian Friend
11. Morality ...... Christian Morality
12. Forgiveness ... Christian Forgiveness
13. Truth ........... Christian Truth

Fourth of July with the Fam

This past weekend was great, you guys :) Saturday, the whole family (minus Matt) for together at my mom's condo to grill out, play games, and go swimming. It was lovely. Can I just say I love days spent with all these guys?

Sea World with this crew. It was fun. I wrote a big long post about it that was riddled with hilarious anecdotes, but my phone deleted it all. I think it may be allergic to humor, but don't quote me on that. :)

This Day...

This day is never-ending.  I am tired.  This weather just makes me want to couch cuddle with my hubby.

Also, last night, Tyler and I went to Chili's with some friends from Life Church and then came back to our apartment so they could see the adorable kitties :)

Well, my friend Brittany brought her laptop with her, and she reintroduced me to SIMS, and you guys... I can feel the addiction already starting in my bones. For real.

I WANT TO PLAY IT AND I WANT TO MAKE A LITTLE SIMS FAMILY WITH A LITTLE BOY AND A LITTLE GIRL AND A LITTLE KITTY AND A LITTLE PUPPY.
